All about Mr. Clark

My name is James Clark, and I'm an Elementary Education major at Indiana University of PA. I love traveling places, although I have never traveled beyond the east coast. I enjoy collecting maps and listening to lots of good music. My favorite genre of music is jazz. It is so serene, and it relaxes me when I am tense. I love Paul Hardcastle; I think he is the greatest jazz musician. Furthermore, I also enjoy eating as well. My favorite foods include, but are not limited to, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken, macaroni and cheese, and french fries.

Beside all this, I am most passionate about my future profession, teaching. I believe that our children need great teachers, who will take the time to make sure they are "learning." I believe that this is my calling and I couldn't see myself doing any other job.

My Family: I have one brother, who is 14, a sister, who is 6, and of course a mom and dad.

Places I would like to visit: One thing I LOVE is nature. I love being outside, to smell the fresh air mother nature has to offer. After I graduate from college, I would like to go to Yosemite National Park in northern California. This is certainly a beautiful place. The rocks are granite and there are plenty of trees around. Yosemite Park is covered with giant sequoia trees, which rise high into the sky. Here is a video that takes you on a short tour through the park.

My favorite type of music: I am a smooth jazz lover. I enjoy the sweet, serene sounds of contemporary smooth jazz. Some of my favorite artists include: Paul Hardcastle, Chris Standring, Acoustic Alchemy, Marc Antoine, Eric Darius, and many more. Here are some of my favorite songs: (click to hear each song)

Here is a video with Paul Hardcastle and Jimi King. (This was the first time I ever heard Paul speak. :0)

Here is a favorite track from Eric Darius called Secret Soul.

Things I enjoy the most: Traveling, volunteering, listening to music, eating, and spending time with family and friends.
